French Toast

I know many of you aren't breakfast eaters, but there is no perfect time to eat french toast! If you are itching for something sweet, this is the fix you may need. Keto French Toast Sticks are a great make ahead, freezer recipe that you can enjoy all week long. Simply pop them in the microwave or oven to reheat! Pair with a low carb syrup or sugar free if you are strict Keto.



Ingredients


Toast

· 2 tbsp Butter, melted

· 2 tbsp Heavy Cream

· 1 Egg

· 2 tbsp Coconut Flour

· ½ tsp Baking Powder

· 1 tsp Sweetener (erythritol, swerve, Monkfruit)


For the Coating

· 1 Egg

· 1 tbsp Heavy Cream

· ¼ tsp Cinnamon Powder

· ½ tsp Vanilla Extract


Instructions


1. Whisk all ingredients for the bread in a microwave-safe dish (something square that resembles bread).

2. Cook in the microwave for 90 seconds.

3. Allow bread to cool for a few minutes before cutting.

4. Whisk all ingredients for the coating.

5. Dip both sides of the bread in the mixture.

6. Pan-fry in butter for 2-3 minutes per side.
